Gymnastics
Please be in school on time on Wednesday mornings, as we will be doing Gymnastics first thing in the school hall.
Access at last!
We finally got access to our blog!
Here is some photos of our class, as we started making electrical circuits in Science.
Over the next few weeks, we hope to make lighthouses in Science and Art.
Keep an eye on this blog for updates.

Electrical Circuits
Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about light and the eye in Science.
Today we revised how to make electrical circuits before we try to create our own lighthouses in Art.
It was very easy to get the light to turn on, but our attempts at making homemade switches varied between huge successes and abject failure!!!
Just as well we love learning from our mistakes in Sixth Class! :)
Good fun and some solid hands on learning was had by all.

Story nana
We were enthralled by two wonderful stories told by Story nana this week.
A Native American story about the Windigo and a scary story about a house in Brownsville, California.
We'll not sleep tonight!😱
Thanks story nana.
First day
It was a while ago but we had a great start to our year as sixth class students. We played some games that helped us to know each other a bit better.

Mr Arkins is gone... Long live Mr Walsh...
The takeover of Sixth Class has been completed peacefully, without tantrums or bloodshed.
Mr Arkins has been replaced as teacher by a younger, more efficient model, Mr Walsh.
I feel a change a coming....
